Andrea Muenzler passed away on May 12, 2017 at the age of 82, due to heart failure. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Leroy E. Muenzler, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. Andrea was born on January 12, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Blough and sister to the late Margaret Armbruster. Upon graduating college, she became an elementary school teacher. Andrea was a dedicated and beloved school teacher until her retirement. She married Leroy E. Andrea Muenzler passed away on May 12, 2017 at the age of 82, due to heart failure. She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Leroy E. Muenzler, Jr. of San Antonio, Texas. Andrea was born on January 12, 1935 in Springfield, Ohio and was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Blough and sister to the late Margaret Armbruster. Upon graduating college, she became an elementary school teacher. Andrea was a dedicated and beloved school teacher until her retirement. She married Leroy E. Muenzler, Jr. on August 8, 1964 in San Antonio, Texas. As Leroy was a Chaplain and a Commander in the U.S. Navy, they travelled for many tours of duty, some of which included Virginia, Hawaii, California, and Washington State. After retirement, they enjoyed their Canyon Lake, Texas home and also, travelling around the country, particularly to stay at their summer home in Colorado. Andrea is survived by four children, Debra, Cindy, Mark, and Wesley, seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and a niece and nephews. A memorial service will take place on June 24, 2107 at 11:00 A.M. at Stone Oak Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 20024 Crescent Oaks, San Antonio, Texas 78258.
